Labubu (Chinese: 拉布布) is a line of collectible plush and vinyl toys created by Hong Kong illustrator Kasing Lung, originating as part of his The Monsters series, inspired by Nordic folklore  . Since 2019, Chinese retailer Pop Mart has produced and distributed them through the popular “blind box” model—where each box hides a random figure from a themed series
